Australian flautist Wendy Quilan, Belgian guitarist Stephane Wertz and British violinist Alan Ward performed in Delhi lately.

Musically connected: The artistes performed pieces from French compositions by Emile Pessard and various other famous folk compositions.
The Belgian ambassador Ian Deboutte with his wife Regy, seemed to be really enjoying themselves. “It’s as wonderful as enjoying an Indian classical piece. We love it”, he said.
Cricket here, too! Besides the heart-warming reaction that they got, Wendy had one more reason, which kept her smiling all through the evening.
‘Well, it’s the Australian second Test victory,’ she declared sheepishly to the audience who looked so taken-in by her that they let that comment pass. Also present was Nikolaus G. Van der Pas, from the European commission and many other music lovers who sat through the evening enjoying its feel.
